Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms explain how EAM Music distributes your music and what we expect from you. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who we are
EAM Music Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14647232 ("EAM", "we", "us"). You can contact us at [email protected].
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Every new account is reviewed by our team before it is activated, and we may refuse an account without giving a reason.
- Keep your login details safe. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Your music and your rights
- You keep full ownership of your recordings, compositions and artwork.
- You give EAM a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to reproduce, distribute, make available and promote the content you upload, through the stores and platforms you choose, for as long as the content is distributed by us.
- You confirm that you own or control all rights needed for each release, including samples, covers, artwork, names and likenesses, and that the content does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
- Credits and metadata must be accurate. Do not use other artists' names to mislead listeners.
4. Content we do not distribute
We may refuse, ask you to change, or remove a release if it:
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- is misleading, spam, or a near-copy of existing content;
- contains hate speech, illegal content or content that breaks a store's rules;
- is connected to artificial streaming, bots or any attempt to manipulate plays or charts.
Stores and platforms make their own decisions and may decline or remove content. We cannot guarantee placement, playlisting or any level of income.
5. Plans, fees and commission
- Free: up to 5 songs in total. EAM keeps a 20% commission on royalties from those releases.
- Artist and Label: paid plans billed monthly or yearly. EAM keeps 0% commission on royalties.
- Label Services: custom terms agreed with you in writing.
Current prices are shown on our website. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan. Upgrades are requested from your panel and activated by our team.
6. Royalties and payouts
- Royalties are added to your balance when stores report and pay them to us. Some figures in your panel may be estimates and are labelled as such.
- You can withdraw once your balance reaches 50 USD, up to 2 times a week, by bank transfer (IBAN/SWIFT) or PayPal. Withdrawals are usually processed in 3 to 5 business days.
- You must complete your payout profile and tax details before your first withdrawal. Changes to payout methods are confirmed with an email code.
- If a store reverses a payment, or earnings come from fraud or artificial streams, we may deduct or withhold those amounts.
- Revenue splits and referral rewards (5% of an invited artist's paid earnings) are paid from EAM's balance and follow the same rules.
7. Takedowns and ending the service
You can ask us to take down a release from your panel at any time. Stores usually remove content within a few days to a few weeks. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Royalties earned legitimately before closure will still be paid.
8. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions made by stores and platforms, or for losses we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you use EAM as a consumer, you also have your statutory rights.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in your panel before it takes effect.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to go to your local courts.
